Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) welcomed the Chief, Philippine National Police, Police General Dionardo B Carlos at PRO6 Headquarters, Camp Gen Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Iloilo City today, January 24, 2022.
No less than the PRO6 Director, Police Brigadier General Flynn E Dongbo welcomed the PNP top cop and accorded him with Arrival Honors in front of the PRO6 Administration Building.
During his visit, he awards medals to deserving PNP personnel.
The Medalya ng Kagalingan were awarded to the following:
Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony D Darroca of Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit for the successful eradication of Marijuana Plantation at Purok Mangium, Barangay Codcod, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on November 29, 2021, recovering marijuana plants weighing 3, 400 grams;
Police Major Jake P Barila, member of Hinigaran Municipal Police Station, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office for the successful conduct of entrapment operation on June 29, 2021, which resulted in the arrest of Demosthenes Fernandez y Olivarez for violation of Sections 28 and 32 of Republic Act 10591;
Police Major Marlyn B Roquero, member of Iloilo City Police Station 4, Iloilo City Police Office for the successful conduct of buy-bust operation at Barangay Divinagracia, Lapaz, Iloilo City on July 14, 2021, which resulted in the arrest of Raclen Escobar y Adorio for violation of Section 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165; and
Police Captain John Khalev Sanchez, member of Regional Intelligence Division for the successful Implementation of Warrant of Arrest to Dennis Subebe y Pineda, a most wanted person (City Level – Iloilo City) on December 6, 2021, for the crime of Murder.
Meanwhile, Police General Carlos awards Medalya ng Papuri to Police Lieutenant Colonel Elmer Magbanua for returning cash money amounting to P10, 000.00 to the owner from Jamindan, Capiz on December 15, 2021 at La Paz, Iloilo City.
Police General Carlos in his message during the talk to men, reminds the personnel to follow the programs, rules, and regulations of the PNP organization. The Chief of Police and unit commanders should take responsibility to oversee the discipline of their personnel. He further declares that he will not tolerate any wrongdoings of any PNP personnel. Moreover, CPNP Carlos directed all personnel and unit commanders to perform professionally for a peaceful and orderly election comes May 2022.
“Bawat isa sa atin ay mayroon tayong ambag na gagawin, my trabaho tayo na ating gagampanan to contribute to the overall functions of the PNP during the election”, he added. After the awarding and talk to men, he presided over the Command Conference which was attended by PRO6 Command Group, Staff, Provincial/City Directors, Chiefs of Police, and Provincial/City Mobile Force Commanders. He also turned over five (5 ) helmets to the Regional Highway Patrol Unit 6.
With him were PMGen Walter E. Castillejos, The Director, Directorate for Plans; PMGen Bartolome R. Bustamante, The Director, the Directorate for Police Community Relations and PMGen Herminio S. Tadeo Jr, the Deputy Commander, Area Police Command- Visayas.
