To address the challenges in delivering public service through newsworthy information under the new normal situation, a Memorandum of Agreement was officially penned between the Philippine National Police and UNTV to put two flagship police mass communication television programs on the air.
Coinciding with the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at PNP National Headquarters in Camp Crame on March 21, 2022, the MOA was signed by Police General Dionardo B Carlos, for the PNP and Mr. Daniel Razon who Mr. Gerardo Panghulan ably represented Vice President and Mr. Jose Rhonel Eusebio, Vice President for Revenue Group and PBGen Roderick Augustus Alba, Chief of Public Information Office.
The six-page accord outlines the commitment of both parties in establishing cooperation and partnership recalibration of public affairs programs designed to provide the latest significant accomplishments, PNP programs and projects, and situational updates on security, peace, and order in the country.
“The PNP recognizes the significance of information and communication strategies, especially on various functions and activities of the organization highlighting the exemplary works and good deeds of our police units as they provide public safety and law enforcement in their respective area of responsibility”, Carlos said in his message.
PNP Chief Carlos personally invited the public as the PNP through the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR) and PIO in partnership with UNTV, officially launched “The TSIP” and “Pulis @ Ur Serbis Reloaded” as the two new lead programs and face of the PNP.
“The TSIP” is a more interactive, 60-minute program every Saturday, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM to be aired on all PNP social media platforms. The program will showcase PNP’s weekly initiatives in crime prevention, crime solutions, and law enforcement to attain a firmly rooted and secure community geared towards the AMBISYON Natin 2040.
Meanwhile, Pulis @ Ur Serbis-Reloaded, a 90-minute program, will be aired Monday to Friday from 12:30 PM-2:00 PM. This program will showcase the accomplishments of Police Regional Offices and National Support Units. In addition, it will further establish a more vital linkage with the community for a bolder public awareness of the intensified PNP’s anti-criminality, anti-corruption, and anti-terrorism insurgency campaign.
“Katuwang ang ating media partners sa UNTV/BMPI, ang mga programang ito ay magbibigay daan para sa mas malawak na pagbabahagi ng kaalaman, kamalayan at mga impormasyon na may kinalaman sa ating programa kontra krimen, korapsyon, iligal na droga at terorismo para sa seguridad at kaligtasan ng ating bansa at mamamayang Pilipino”, Carlos added.
