
An Ordinary day in Cabuyao City turns Tragic: The Police Action of rescuing a drowned child.
Yesterday the video went viral on social media where you can see the off-duty police officers from Batangas Maritime Police Station saving a child who was drowned at Lakewaters in Cabuyao City.
The drowning incident took place at Lakewaters near Cabuyao City fish port in Barangay Marinig and Police Chief Master Sergeant Cristopher D Sibugan together with Patrolman Romy Paltingca happened to be in the area when someone sought help reporting that someone’s been drowned.
Without hesitation, PCMS Sibugan and Pat Paltingca immediately ran to the area where the child was lying and there, PCMS Sibugan immediately applied first aid which became a way to save him from a certain doom.
The rescue operation was successful and the 11-year-old victim John Lester Amaro who is residing at Southville 1 Brgy. Marinig, Cabuyao City was brought immediately to the nearest hospital in Cabuyao for further medical attention.
In a Facebook post of Batangas Maritime Police Station, the victim is now under stable condition.
Indeed, PCMS Sibugan and Pat Paltingca truly lived up their sacred oath “To Serve and Protect”.
