
The Philippine National Police (PNP) received various donations of office and police equipment from the PNP Foundation Inc. (PNPFI). The donation was received during the flag-raising ceremony in front of the PNP National Headquarters Building, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City on August 15, 2022.
On hand to receive the donations was Police General Rodolfo S. Azurin, Jr., Chief of the Philippine National Police. Prior to the turnover, the Deed of Donation was formally signed by PNPFI Chairman, Senator Panfilo M. Lacson, who was also the guest of honor and speaker. With him was PNPFI Vice-Chairperson Ms. Teresita Ang See.
The donation, amounting to Php4,938,800.00, consisting of 113 sets desktop computers with USB mouse and keyboard; 67 units 3in1 printer; 23 units projector; 22 units portable public address system with two wireless microphones; 16 units CCTV with four channels; and 60 units mountain bike.
“The Deed of Donation that we are formalizing today manifests the strong relationship between the PNP and PNP Foundation Inc. that sets an upright jumpstart towards stronger linkages and commitment with our trusted pillars in public service. This partnership will also help in streamlining the quality of our police services and strengthen law enforcement capabilities for efficient delivery of government services to the Filipino people,” PGen Azurin said.
Azurin also said in his statement, that through this development, more accomplishments will be jointly achieved, as PNP builds stronger connections with the community. This also deems to strengthen the police force as it transforms the organization into a much stronger and responsive police organization.
“Despite some stumbling blocks that our organization has been faced with, and the challenges that we have hurdled in the past, your Philippine National Police will swiftly embrace the shared vision and responsibility in realizing our organizational stability, reformation, and resiliency,” Azurin added.
With the active participation of the community and the unending support of its stakeholders, the Philippine National Police will continue to serve its mandate, in protecting and safeguarding the people founded on its core values—MakaDiyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan and Makabansa.
