
Since the successful launching of the PNP Revitalized KASIMBAYANAN (Kapulisan, Simbahan, at Pamayanan) Program on October 10, 2022, Police Regional Office 6 has continued, and never fails to implement, significant programs and activities that would really support its personnel relative to the cascading and successful implementation of the said program throughout the region.
The Revitalized PNP KASIMBAYANAN program is a community mobilization program highlighting the synergized and collaborative partnership between PNP and the general public through the intervention and support of the religious sector towards the goal of a holistic transformation of our society by forging a stronger alliance between PNP and the people it serves and protects.
The program was launched earlier at the National level, and is now being cascaded to every region throughout the country. The Revitalized PNP KASIMBAYANAN Program provides an interplay among the three important sectors in our society; the police, church, and the community by transforming every PNP member to be community-based bridge builders, and maximizing every sector in the community to create an effective collaboration and meaningful involvement towards pre-empting, preventing and in solving crimes.
On October 13, 2022, the Police Regional Office 6 through its Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) conducted a 2-day Cascading of the PNP Revitalized KASIMBAYANAN program. It was participated by 525 PNP personnel composed of Chief Provincial/City Community Affairs and Development Units; the QUAD Staff; Deputy Chiefs of Police; Municipal and City Executive Senior Police Officers and Police Community Relations Police Non-Commissioned Officers; Police Provincial/City Office and Deputy Force Commanders; Operation and PCR Commissioned and Non- Commissioned Officers of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6; and Provincial and City Mobile Forces thru a zoom online platform set-up at the PRO6 Madia-as Hall in Camp Gen Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Fort San Pedro in Iloilo City.

Said activity aims to equip the police officers in embracing their roles in the successful implementation of the KASIMBAYANAN program. They were also given the overview of the current PNP peace and security framework: M+K+K=K, which stands for Malasakit plus Kaayusan plus Kapayapaan equals Kaunlaran.
On October 17, 2022, the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division led by Police Lieutenant Rosinie O. Cabuena, Chief Public Information Section (PIS), Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD), together with Police Corporal Ronniel O. Fusin, Quad Media PNCO, RCADD; Police Corporal Teody L. Aguilos, Action PNCO, Regional Police Community Affairs and Development Unit 6 (RPCADU); and other four Training of Trainers (TOT) graduates of the Revitalized PNP KASIMBAYANAN from Police Provincial Offices (PPOs) under the direct supervision of Police Colonel Victorino E. Romanillos Jr., Chief, RCADD, conducted a 5-day Training of Trainers (TOT) on the Revitalized PNP KASIMBAYANAN.
The training was participated in by 47 participants from Police Provincial Offices and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) via a zoom online platform. The topics consist of community organizing; facilitation skills; methods of instructions; and the Instructors’ Development Course.
Miss Maria Calpiza J Sardua, CESO IV, Assistant Regional Director-DILG 6, who represented Sir Juan Jovian E Ingeniero, CESO IV, the Regional Director of the Department of the Interior and Local Government 6 (DILG6), was the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the launching, hopeful with the productive outcome of the said partnership in the entire region.
“I am looking really at a beautiful life ahead because everybody is involved, including the cooperation and support of the community. This time, tulong-tulong tayo towards the maintenance of peace and order,” Asst DILG Director Sardua said.
“From the Regional DILG, rest assured that we will be giving you our full support. Tulong-tulong po tayo upang maabot ang layunin ng programang ito. Sama-sama tayong mamuhay sa mapayapa, maayos at maunlad na bansa. Life is beautiful… Ang pangarap nyo ay pangarap ko rin. Good morning”. Asst Regional Director Sardua added.
Police Brigadier General Leo M. Francisco, Regional Director, PRO 6, likewise, motivated the Western Visayas cops to do their share in the achievement of lasting peace in the region, and in the attainment of progress in their respective communities. He also commits himself, together with the rest of the Police Regional Office 6 personnel, to continue supporting the existing public safety and security framework under the leadership of the Chief of the Philippine National Police, General Rodolfo S. Azurin Jr.
