
PBGen David Kang-Owan Peredo Jr., a proud Igorot from Sagada, Mountain Province, formally assumed his post as the top cop of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR), following the Turn-over of Command Ceremony held at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on March 17, 2023.
The momentous occasion was presided over by PLtGen Felipe Natividad, Commander, Area Police Command-Northern Luzon (APC-NL) who also served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
Also present during the turnover ceremony were the local chief executives and representatives of LGUs in the region, heads and representatives of regional line agencies, and other stakeholders.
As the highlight of the ceremony, PBGen Mafelino A Bazar, the outgoing PROCOR Regional Director, passed the Office Symbol of Authority and the Office Property & Equipment Inventory Book to PBGen Peredo, Jr., the incoming Regional Director of PROCOR.
Prior to PBGen Peredo’s assignment, he served as the Deputy Regional Director for Administration of the Police Regional Office 5, and likewise, served as the Chief Regional Staff of PROCOR.
“As I begin to embark my leadership in PRO COR, I would like to encourage every personnel with the principle of providing better services, and let every action and undertaking be anchored with my three-fold agenda, summed up as DKP for Disiplina, Kakayahan, Pagmamahal at Pagtupad sa tungkulin“, said PBGen Peredo Jr.
Peredo is a proud member of the PNPA “TAGAPAGPATUPAD” Class of 1992.
PBGen Bazar is designated as the acting Deputy Commander of the APC-NL.
