Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, Chief of the Philippine National Police, was recently honored with the First-Class Police Force Bravery Award, known as the Panglima Gagah Pasukan Polis (PGPP), by His Majesty Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XVII Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Sultan Iskandar, the King of Malaysia. This distinguished award from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) recognizes Gen. Marbil’s outstanding contributions to strengthening security cooperation between the Philippines and Malaysia.
The PGPP award, conferred by the Malaysian monarch on October 30, 2024, in Kuala Lumpur, recognizes extraordinary bravery, leadership, and service in law enforcement.
