The Filipino-American Law Enforcement Officers (FALEO) is a fraternal association which has has long been partnering with the Philippine National Police advocating various causes concerning law enforcement as well as community service through vital learning exchanges and generous donations aimed at strengthening the country’s law enforcement capabilities. With the leadership and dedication of its officers, the organization has continued to bring significant changes especially to different communities in the Philippines, by implementing impactful community projects.
FALEO is comprised of active and/or retired law enforcement personnel from various local, state and federal agencies in the United States who trace their roots and country of origin to the Philippines. Throughout the years, the association had expanded with their membership as it welcomes non-sworn personnel that serve in the law-enforcement community as well as those who support the goals and objectives of the organization.

On February 3, 2025, FALEO representatives had paid a courtesy call with Jail Senior Superintendent Leonalyn Oloan of the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna, where they conducted a Comprehensive Symposium on Proper Handcuffing Techniques, Hostage Negotiations, High-Risk Extractions and discussions on Impact Weapons and Scenarios to the attending cadets.

The following day, the group went to Marikina City where they successfully donated school supplies to the City’s Boys’ Town and Girls’ Town Complex, while wheelchairs were given to select beneficiaries in the City’s Elderly Town Complex. On February 5, the group had visited the PNP National Headquarters in Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City, where they spearheaded several activities including the Symposium on Crime Scene Preservation held in the PNP Forensics Group and conducted School Donations in Camp Crame Elementary School. The group also conducted seminar in the PNP Training Service, where critical law enforcement skills are being tackled on various topics such as Critical Incident Management (CIM), Basic Life Support, High-Risk Building Searches, Hostage Negotiation, and Bike Patrol Training.

In the afternoon, the group paid a courtesy call on Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, Philippine National Police Chief, followed with a live interview hosted by Police Captain Nomer B Macaraig, Officer-in-Charge, TV and Radio Production Section, Information and Communication Development Division of the Police Community Affairs and Development Group, which was aired via Straight from Team PNP Facebook Live.

Likewise, FALEO also had partnered with PROTECT (Police Officers Responsible for Organizing, Transforming, and Empowering Communities) who are also advocating similar values and interests towards fostering mutual growth, enhancing continuous professional development, and empowering law enforcement professionals to better serve their respective communities.

Driven with the commitment to bring positive change to their beloved homeland, FALEO under the current leadership of SGT Shaun O’Connor, in collaboration with the Philippine National Police, will continue to promote fraternal relationships and shared cultural awareness among all law enforcement personnel in the country vital in keeping our communities safe and secure.
