The Rizal Police Provincial Office with the leadership of Police Colonel Felipe B. Maraggun, Provincial Director, has once again gone the extra mile not only in maintaining public safety and peace and order but also in providing support and assistance to various local communities in the province of Rizal. It has continuously implemented sustainable projects and initiatives that will definitely help and alleviate the people’s way of life. Rizal PPO has long been advocating progress and community development by closely collaborating with other government agencies, Non-Government Organizations and other stakeholders.
In partnership with the Members of the Church of God International (MCGI), Rizal PPO has consistently channeled positive changes to the residents of Rizal, maintaining its active stance to deliver outstanding police service, aligned with the government programs and objectives.
On June 3, 2024, PCol Felipe B. Maraggun together with Kuya Daniel S Razon, who represented MCGI, led in the turned-over of 31 solar street lamps to the residents of Sitio Malalim in Barangay Maybangkal, Morong, Rizal. The turn-over was also attended by Police Major Rosalino E. Panlaqui, Chief of Police, Morong MPS, together with Honorable Romeo Resurreccion, Barangay Chairman, who deeply expressed his gratitude to the entire Rizal PPO and MCGI for helping them in providing street lights within the said locality. The day earlier, the same team also donated five new solar street lamps to the residents of Sitio Ligwa, Barangay Hulo in Pililla, Rizal.
The MCGI’s collaboration and partnership with Rizal PPO has became instrumental for the said office to address the pressing needs of the residents. It allows Rizal PPO to put into realization the many wishes and aspirations of Rizaleños towards progress and sustainable development.
PCol Maraggun, however urged the residents to never stop supporting the Philippine National Police in fighting criminalities and in keeping everyone safe and secured. He also reiterated that PNP will never tires in guarding our communities from all form of threats and violence. PCol Maraggun also aired his humble appreciation to MCGI for granting the barangay’s request to have their own street lights.
As Rizal PPO sets the bar high in bringing excellent police services to the people, it also recognizes the vital role of its stakeholders like MCGI in attaining its goals of helping the community.
