The 2nd Quarter CY 2024 National Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Center (JPSCC) Meeting was successfully conducted on July 11, 2024, at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Headquarters, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame in Quezon City. The significant event was graced by the presence of CPNP Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, CSAFP General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., and CPCG CG Admiral Ronnie Gil L. Gavan, underscoring the collaborative efforts of PNP, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

The National JPSCC Meeting aimed to review and discuss the significant accomplishments and planned activities of its various Joint Cells. Central to the discussions were the resolutions signed by the three leaders, which included the creation of a Joint Cyber Cell and the initiatives to enhance information-sharing on troop movements. The resolutions signify a progressive stride towards improving the coordination and efficiency of the nationโ€™s peace and security operations.

Police General Marbil, CSAFP General Brawner Jr., and CG Admiral Gavan emphasized the crucial role of JPSCC in planning and implementing security operations, in monitoring peace situations, coordinating peace and security measures. JPSCC remains instrumental in initiating cross-training between organizations and reviewing nationwide peace and security scenarios, ensuring a cohesive and unified approach to national security.

The creation of the Joint Cyber Cell addresses the increasing need for robust cybersecurity measures and digital coordination, reflecting the evolving nature of security threats. Enhanced information-sharing on troop movements is expected to improve operational synergy and response time, thereby, increasing the overall effectiveness of security efforts.

JPSCC stands as a testament to the strength of collaboration and the impact of concerted efforts by the three government agencies entrusted with maintaining peace, security, and order in the country. The unified front not only enhances the efficiency of security operations but also reinforces the nationโ€™s resolve to uphold peace and security.
