The Police Regional Office 12, renowned for its unwavering commitment to peace and order, has consistently demonstrated its dedication to the well-being of both its personnel and the community it serves. On September 1, 2024, under the leadership of Provincial Director PCol Samuel T. Cadungon, the South Cotabato Police Provincial Office (SCPPO) launched “Project Lifeline,” a province-wide voluntary blood donation campaign that engaged not only PNP personnel and their dependents but also the broader community.
This initiative, a testament to PCol Cadungon’s visionary leadership, was made possible through a collaborative effort with the Regional Medical and Dental Satellite Office to the South Cotabato Provincial Medical and Dental Team (SCPMDT) and the South Cotabato Provincial Hospital led by Roland Abu, RMT; South Cotabato Integrated Provincial Health Office (SCIPHO) led by Ana Marie Grace Egasan, RMT; Koronadal City Health Office led by Luz Viray, RMT; and Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College headed by their School Head, Maria Patricia M Millado, MA, MPA.
The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from SCPPO’s PNP personnel, students from various schools, and other community members, all united in their desire to save lives through blood donations.
“Project Lifeline” goes beyond the act of donating blood; it serves as a vital lifeline for those in need, ensuring a stable blood supply for medical emergencies. It also strengthens the bond between law enforcement and the communities they protect, fostering a spirit of unity and mutual support. This initiative exemplifies SCPPO’s ongoing commitment to building a healthier, more resilient South Cotabato.
