Prayer and Candle Lighting: PNP’s Tribute to Fallen Heroes

A meaningful prayer and candle-lighting ceremony was held by the police in Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) in remembrance of the “Fallen Heroes” of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on November 2, 2024. It coincided with a similar activity held at the Bantayog ng Bayaning Tagapamayapa, PNP Museum in Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, through the initiative of the Police Community Affairs and Development Group (PCADG) led by Police Colonel Marvin Joe C Saro, Officer-In-Charge, followed by a mass presided over by Police Major Rhey J Dollesin of Chaplain Service.

The simultaneous activity served as a tribute to the brave men and women of the Philippine National Police who had sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

In their passing, their courage, integrity, and dedication to their duties—prioritizing public safety above their own well-being—are continuously remembered and honored. Their sacrifice reflects selfless acts of service for the welfare of the greater public.
