R-PSB Team “Banase” hosts remarkable Event for Couples in Masbate

The presence of a Revitalized-Pulis Sa Barangay Team (R-PSB Team) in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs) is oftentimes a blessing for the community. One such story is heartwarming since it involves six loving couples who lived in far-flung areas. 

R-PSB Team Banase led by PCMS Noli Manlapas, of the 1st Masbate Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st Masbate PMFC) under the leadership of PLtCol Freddie C. Herry, Force Commander, being committed to enhance collaborative police-community relations have assessed issues and concerns affecting residents in areas where they were deployed. The team organized and facilitated a Mass Wedding to celebrate the six couples trying the knot on April 5, 2024.

The auspicious event took place at Lusong Falls, Barangay Gabi in Baleno, Masbate, graced and officiated by Hon. Mayor Marites C. Dela Rosa. It marked a cherished tradition that offers couples an opportunity to formalize their commitment in a collective and joyous ceremony.

Following the heartfelt exchange of vows, the newlywed couples expressed their profound gratitude to the RPSB Team for orchestrating such a meaningful and memorable occasion. Their appreciation underscored the importance of initiatives that strengthen bonds between the police, community, and the local government unit.

As the newlyweds embark on their marital journey, PCol Liane M. Van De Velde, Provincial Director, Masbate PPO, extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to each couple.
