Turnover of ICT Equipment to Specific PRO6 Units

On May 6, 2024, the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) gave certain PRO6 units PHP1.3 million worth of information and communication technology (ICT) equipment to improve their skills. The beneficiaries were selected by the requirements of their offices, according to PRO6 Spokesperson PLtCol Arnel Solis.

The Regional Operations Division, the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division, the Regional Information and Communication Technology Management Division, and the Guimaras Police Provincial Office are the designated recipients.

PBGen Jack L Wanky, RD PRO6, said, “May these items and equipment boost your office’s capabilities, make our personnel work easier and faster, and contribute to better services to our clientele.” The apparatuses that were given out consisted of six Starlink Kits, one Fortinet Range Series Network Firewall, three laptops, and three desktop computers with licensed operating systems, antivirus software, and printers.

They also received four CCTV cameras with accessories, one 24-foot fiberglass ladder, two safety full-body harnesses and helmets, and one fiber optic fusion splicer.

The symbolic transfer of these items by PRO6 demonstrates its commitment to consistently supply our police forces with the tools they need to improve public service. We believe that by using this equipment, police personnel’s work will be simplified and expedited, allowing them to perform their jobs more successfully.

PNP is still collaborating to provide the country with better, if not the best service now and in the near future for a “Bagong Pilipinas.”

The commitment and solidarity of every member of the Philippine National Police gives life to the vision of a more comfortable and peaceful country with the effort to enhance police service for a more progressive and orderly society for all Filipinos.
