The present administration’s brand of policing goes beyond law enforcement—it is about reaching out, uplifting lives, and building genuine connections with the communities. Leading the charge is Police General Nicolas D. Torre III, Chief, PNP, who advocates a proactive and people-centered approach that nurtures collaboration between law enforcement and the public. This transformation strengthens the PNP’s community ties and fosters mutual trust not only as guardians of peace and order but also as active partners in community development and nation-building.
In celebration of the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month, the Bataan Provincial Police Office (PPO), led by Police Colonel Marites A. Salvadora, spearheaded an outreach program for the Indigenous Peoples (IPs) of the Magbukun Tribe in Sitio Matalangao, Barangay Banawang, Bagac, Bataan, on July 12, 2025.

The initiative was held in partnership with the Foreign National Keepers Network (FNKN) – Bataan Chapter, headed by Mr. Syed Shabir Ali, together with the Bagac Municipal Police Station, led by Police Major Roger R. Pecenio, in coordination with Chieftain Siony Sy of the Magbukun Tribe.
At the heart of the program was the distribution of grocery packages and school supplies, offering a much-needed support to the Magbukun community, particularly its youth. This endeavor not only addressed immediate needs but also fostered a sense of unity and strengthened the relationship between law enforcement, stakeholders, and the indigenous community.

Another highlight of the event was the cultural performance of the children rendered through a traditional song and dance—a gesture of appreciation to the members of PNP and their partners. The children’s genuine smiles served as an important reminder of the deep impact that people-centered governance can make, not just in delivering government services but also in touching lives.

This successful outreach program reflects the dedication of PNP to inclusive public service. It also underscores the vital importance of building strong, trust-based partnerships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Through its continuous efforts, PNP moves closer to its vision where every citizen, regardless of background, feels seen, supported, and valued—truly for a Bagong Pilipinas.
