The Philippine National Police (PNP) continues to intensify its campaign against crime and illegal drugs nationwide. Recently, PNP reported significant accomplishments that led in the arrest of Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) and high-value drug suspects.
In a two-day operation, from September 24 to 25, 2025, a total of 11 MWPs were arrested across various regions, including Laguna, Bulacan, Samar, Antique, Iligan, Misamis Oriental, and Cagayan de Oro City. These arrests included high-profile individuals listed in both regional and national Most Wanted lists. As of this writing, all suspects are under the custody of their respective police units, ensuring swift legal proceedings.

During the same period, PNP units conducted targeted buy-bust operations resulting in the arrest of 10 High-Value Individuals (HVIs). These operations yielded approximately 1,015 grams of suspected shabu, with a total Standard Drug Price exceeding Php6.6 Million.
Separately, a joint PNPโPDEA operation conducted in Sugpon, Ilocos Sur from September 18 to 24 uprooted and burned marijuana plantations with an estimated market value of Php13 Million, bringing the total drug haul to Php19.7 Million.

In his message, Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., Acting Chief PNP, underscored PNPโs commitment to disrupt and dismantle illegal drug activities, saying: “These arrests and drug seizures show that we are serious about keeping our communities safe. From catching the most wanted criminals to shutting down major drug operations, our police officers are working day and night to bring justice.โ
PNP urges the public to cooperate with authorities, remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activities that may threaten the peace and order in our country. With the continuous support of local government units, partner agencies, and the community, PNP reaffirms its mandate to serve and protect, while sustaining its relentless campaign against crime and illegal drugs to build safer communities in line with the vision of Bagong Pilipinas.
