PNP’s Dedication to Public Service Never Goes Unnoticed

Behind every badge is a police officer who stands resilient in the face of danger to safeguard our communities. Acknowledging the sacrifices and humanitarian efforts of our law enforcement is more than a gesture of gratitude; it is a step toward strengthening the trust between the police and the community. Commending their courage in disaster response, rescue operations, and peacekeeping uplifts their morale and inspires them to serve with dedication and accountability.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) continues to emphasize that its core strength lies in the morale and well-being of its personnel. By nurturing this, PNP ensures to deliver efficient and effective public service.

On September 29, 2025, Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., Acting PNP Chief, led the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the PNP Transformational Oval in Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City, where he extended his heartfelt gratitude to every member of the police force in the success of the recent “Trillion Peso March”. He personally lauded the hard work and sacrifices of over 50,000 strategically deployed personnel nationwide, who ensured the smooth and simultaneous conduct of the anti-corruption protest rally.

“I want to take a moment to recognize the hardwork, dedication, and sacrifice of every PNP personnel. Last September 21, during the Trillion Peso March, I personally witnessed how our men and women in uniform ensured the safety of our citizens while maintaining peace and order. Maraming salamat sa inyong walang sawang serbisyo at dedikasyon. You made sure that despite the crowd and the challenges, your professionalism and discipline prevailed. Ang inyong sakripisyo, kahit hindi nakikita ng iba, ay mahalaga at nagbibigay inspirasyon sa lahat, [maging] sa pagpasok ng dalawang malalakas na bagyo,” said PLtGen Nartatez.

He also commended the swift action of his personnel when the country braced the impact of Super Typhoons Nando and Opong. Thousands of PNP personnel, including members of the Reactionary Standby Support Forces (RSSF), were deployed following the onslaught of the typhoons to conduct rescue operations, provide humanitarian aid, and assist in evacuation and relief efforts. Their swift proactive measures reflected the PNP’s readiness and commitment to service.

“I would like to commend our personnel for their preparedness and swift response during Typhoons Nando and Opong. Our disaster response teams, emergency units, and local police stations did not show fatigue, but exceptional readiness in ensuring that affected communities received timely assistance. Taos-puso kong pinupurihan ang inyong pagiging maagap at mabilis na koordinasyon kasama ang bawat local government units at rescue units,” he added.
