This spirit is embodied by three Philippine National Police (PNP) officers named among the 2026 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos, a recognition honoring individuals whose work continues to uplift communities, strengthen institutions, and inspire the nation. On September 4, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, the Metrobank Foundation honored ten remarkable public servants, consisting of four teachers, three soldiers, and three police officers, whose contributions exemplify the highest standards of integrity, innovation, and service. Among them were Police Lieutenant Colonel Robert R. Mansueto, Police Major Baby Rose P. Cajulao, and Police Master Sergeant Dwight Alexis B. Supsupin, whose distinct journeys converge in a shared mission to make public service more responsive, humane, and transformative.
With twenty-five years of service, PLtCol Mansueto, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration of the Antique Police Provincial Office, has proven that innovation can become a powerful tool for public service. Through pioneering initiatives such as the Traffic Information and Monitoring System (TIMS) and the Barangay e-Blotter System, he has helped modernize police operations and improve service delivery. His efforts have enhanced road safety, strengthened coordination among stakeholders, and introduced practical technological solutions that make public service more efficient and accessible. His work shows that innovation gains its greatest value when it is driven by a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
Equally inspiring is the story of PMaj Cajulao, Chief of the Community Affairs Section of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division of Police Regional Office 2. Throughout her years in service, she has championed programs that place people at the heart of policing. Through initiatives such as Project Manang BIDAY, the Future Pulis Scholarship Program, and other community-centered interventions, she has opened doors of opportunity for children, empowered families, and inspired communities to pursue a brighter future. Her leadership reflects a profound truth: the most enduring form of influence does not come from authority alone, but from the ability to uplift others and help them realize their potential.
Representing the Police Non-Commissioned Officers is PMSg Supsupin, whose dedication has made a lasting impact across communities in the Cordillera Administrative Region. Through innovative programs such as Sulat Kamay, Turismo, Hindi Terorismo, and Kaalaman at Kapayapaan, he has helped strengthen police-community partnerships while promoting education, peacebuilding, and youth engagement. His work underscores the importance of empowering citizens as active partners in maintaining peace and order. By fostering trust, awareness, and collaboration, he has shown that sustainable public safety begins with strong community relationships.
