Paskuhan sa Kampo Crame 2025: Pasko ng Pag-asa: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman

The December air carried its familiar warmth, the kind that comes not from the weather but from the gathering of people bound by service, tradition, and family. As twilight fell, the grounds of Camp BGen Rafael T Crame in Quezon City became a festive haven, alive with music, laughter, and the glow of lanterns reflecting the joy of Christmas. Guided by the theme “Pasko ng Pag-asa: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman,” the Philippine National Police (PNP) joined the faithful through Paskuhan sa Kampo Crame 2025, a celebration that honors faith and heritage while affirming the institution’s enduring commitment to unity, service, and the promise of peace.

This year’s Paskuhan sa Kampo Crame commenced with the Ceremonial Lighting of the PNP Christmas Tree and Christmas Lanterns on December 3, 2025, personally led by Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., Acting Chief, PNP, together with his wife, Mrs. Mary Rose Nartatez, Adviser of the PNP OLC Foundation, Inc. (PNP-OLCFI); the mother of the Acting PNP Chief, Mrs. Josefina Corpuz Nartatez; and their children, along with the PNP Command Group, Directors of The Directorial Staff and National Support Units. Adding to the spirit of generosity, the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund, Inc. (PSMBFI) launched its 2025 Pamaskong Handog, a gift-giving program for its valued members, ensuring that the joy of Christmas and the spirit of giving were truly felt across the PNP organization.

The spotlight then turned to the Online Christmas Carol Contest and the Christmas Lantern Contest on December 9, both of which were actively participated in by various Crame-based offices and units, as well as PNP Directorates.

On December 16, the celebration embraced both the solemnity of faith and the joy of fellowship. The PNP Chaplain Service spearheaded the start of the traditional Misa de Gallo (Dawn Masses) at Camp Crame, grounding the festivities in prayer and thanksgiving. On the same day, the Paskuhan sa Kampo Crame Christmas Fellowship was held at the NHQ Lobby, featuring gift-giving and raffles for both uniformed and non-uniformed personnel, alongside festive food stalls that fostered warmth and camaraderie within the PNP family. Complementing the merriment, the Bulwagang Lapulapu hosted an inflatable playground for the dependents of PNP personnel, ensuring that the joy of Christmas was shared not only among officers and staff but also with their families.

During the fellowship, the winners of the Christmas Lantern Contest and the Online Christmas Carol Contest were formally recognized. In the Christmas Lantern Contest, the Information Technology Management Service (ITMS) emerged as champion, illuminating the season with its creative craftsmanship. The PNP Forensic Group (FG) secured first runner-up honors, while the PNP Recruitment and Selection Service (PRSS) earned the distinction of second runner-up, each contributing their own brilliance to the festive display. Meanwhile, in the Online Christmas Carol Contest, the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) was hailed as champion, with voices resounding in faith and joy. The Maritime Group claimed second place, and the Directorate for Intelligence (DI) garnered third place, completing a celebration of music and unity that echoed the spirit of Christmas throughout Camp Crame.

In his heartfelt message during the Christmas Fellowship, PLtGen Nartatez conveyed his deep appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices of PNP personnel, especially as they continue to safeguard peace and order throughout the holiday season. He confirmed that, in addition to the festive celebrations, the Service Recognition Incentive and the Performance Enhancement Incentive would be granted to all personnel. This announcement was warmly received, as it not only recognized the steadfast service of the men and women in uniform but also uplifted their morale, affirming that their commitment to duty and nation is honored and rewarded during this season of faith and thanksgiving.

As the organization embraces the holiday season, Paskuhan sa Kampo Crame stands as a testament to the true spirit of Christmas, found in shared faith, genuine service, and unity as one PNP family. Beyond the lights, songs, and celebrations, it reaffirms the organization’s enduring promise to serve with compassion that is felt, integrity that is trusted, and speed that responds to the needs of the people. Guided by hope and strengthened by solidarity, the men and women of the police force move forward into the coming year, inspired to continue their mission of protecting the nation, uplifting communities, and keeping the light of peace burning bright in every Filipino home.
