PNP-OLCFI Sustains Advocacy through Turnover of Support Initiatives

In celebration of leadership and women empowerment, the Philippine National Police Officers’ Ladies Club Foundation, Inc. (PNP OLCFI) welcomed its new set of officers during the special meet and greet with its Adviser Ms. Mary Rose O. Nartatez, wife of Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., Acting PNP Chief, followed by the induction of officers on the afternoon of October 15, 2025, at the Bulwagang Lapulapu, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.

Representing PLtGen Nartatez was Police Major General Roderick Augustus Alba, Director for Police Community Relations (DPCR), who served as the inducting officer during the event. He delivered an empowering message underscoring the importance of integrity, excellence, and collaboration with the community to strengthen the PNP’s continuing mission and pursuit of peace and progress in the country.

Ms. Nartatez, on the other hand, shared heartfelt insights that deeply inspired every member of the foundation, reminding them that true leadership is not defined by position but by compassion, humility, and the genuine desire to serve others. The atmosphere, thereafter, was filled with pride, hope, and renewed commitment to serve the community with purpose.

Following the transition of leadership, PNP-OLCFI continues to uphold its commitment to social responsibility and community partnership. In a simple yet meaningful ceremony on October 16, the foundation turned over a complete set of Therma Tecar and Cervical and Lumbar Traction equipment to the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA). These new facilities will benefit PNPA cadets, as they can conveniently access therapy services within the academy without the need to travel to the PNP General Hospital.

The turnover ceremony was spearheaded by Ms. Nartatez, along with former PNP-OLCFI Adviser Ms. Mary Rose Marbil, together with Police Brigadier General Jezebel Medina, Director of PNP Health Service; the PNPA Command Group; and members of the PNP-OLCFI Board of Trustees. This initiative underscores PNP-OLCFI’s dedication to support the health and well-being of the country’s future police leaders.

Driven by its compassion and shared sense of purpose with the Nation’s Peacekeepers, the foundation also handed over essential appliances to the Child Development Center in Camp Crame on the same day. This simple act of support for the daily feeding program of the learning center has provided great convenience to teachers in preparing healthy meals for the children, ensuring their healthy well-being and happy disposition throughout their learning journey.

Overall, PNP-OLCFI’s steadfast engagements and initiatives in public service truly reflect a genuine and empowered leadership centered on supporting the welfare of PNP personnel and their families. Worth-mentioning, the foundation’s humble efforts are also a testament of fostering stronger partnerships between law enforcement and the community, bringing hope and inspiration toward building a more caring and unified Bagong PNP sa Bagong Pilipinas.
